A little index of Thomas M. M. Hemy works. Divided into three groups - a) Significant Paintings, b) Watercolours, c) Drawings and Illustrations. Somewhat arbitrarily, I am afraid! I know it is nowhere near complete and I have a number of works to add to the list when I can confirm they are by Thomas Hemy. If YOU could add any data to this list or help in any way, do drop me a line. I have put them in alphabetic sequence by title as best I can today. With the works of unknown title to be included at the end of each section. If we can establish a few more years for the works we could provide another list in time sequence, but for certain works, I have no clues as to the date.    The page was revised, in early 2006, to add in thumbnail images of the works where I have them available. This site has now been operational for five or six years. In that time, the works attributed to the artist, reported on this page or on a predecessor page, have gone from literally two or three to 135 today in Dec. 2006. We do not have images for many of the references, of course, but there HAS undoubtedly been progress over that extended period. If you helped in that process, (there have been many who have helped), I thank you! And if you could help, but have not done yet, do please help if you can. My list that follows is clearly just a very small part of the artist's works. If you were to search at Artprice.com, (search for Hemy and then Thomas M. Madawaska Hemy) you will find listings of the many Thomas Hemy paintings and Drawing-Watercolours that are in their database - 12 paintings and 28 Drawing-Watercolours. A number of the works are repeats, presumably where a work was sold twice? Images are available for a few only of the works (3 of the 12 paintings and 12 of the 28 drawing-watercolours) but are only available regardless to Artprice.com subscribers. It would seem that images of only two of that entire list are at this moment in these web pages. I have added into my list, the Artprice.com works with stated dates and am now in process of including the others also.
