Here is an image of another Thomas Hemy work entitled 'Just in Time'. It sold via e-Bay for GBP 10.50 on Dec. 24, 2002. - a chromolithograph of an 1883 work but one which was published rather later, or at least this print was.

It comes from Volume #16, the Annual of the 'Boy's Own Paper' re 1893/4, which contained BOP's from Oct. 07, 1893 up to Sep. 29, 1894. With a print size of 13" x 9" plus borders and a central fold across it (the entire image was not scanned). It specifically accompanied the 'The Boy's Own Paper' published on Jan. 27, 1894. See Page 03 for a reference to it.

And next below, I am happy to be able to show you, courtesy of Dave Scaife of the U.K., an image of the print as it appears in that BOP Annual with the Hemy 'Wreck of the MV Birkenhead' work at right. Thanks Dave!

At left is the artist's signature, from bottom left on 'Just in Time'.

In Oct. 2024, as the webmaster was updating the page, the webmaster found on e-Bay a framed image of the work, the name of the work being likely unknown to the vendor. Do drop by the vendor's website which is here. Offered at GBP 35 or best offer.
