While I must report on this page the facts as I know them, those facts do in this case leave something to be desired. I would be astonished if the work that appears below was indeed called 'British'. But absent what probably is a more accurate title, I must record it in accordance with the data that I have seen - doubtful, however, though that data is.

The work that follows is said to be a watercolour & pencil, signed & dated 1883. Of 13.8 x 10.8 inches in size (35 x 27.5 cm). Sold, I read, by Bonhams at their Knowle, U.K., location on Feb. 21, 2006 for GBP 480 or approximately U.S. $882.

The image is not the greatest, but I provide what I am able to provide. I looks however, like a tiny image, enlarged greatly beyond the size that the image detail can support.
