I cannot say it for many of these 'decades of build' pages, but this page, re vessels built in the 1920s, is close to being complete. At least so it seems to me. With major input from John Oliver. Note creating lists is most difficult since, for reasons unknown, Lloyd's Registers for these years seem not to be WWW available. 1920, 1921, 1922, 1923, 1924, 1925, 1926, 1927, 1928, 1929. 1920 (data so far has been built up from elsewhere in the site. A copy of the 1921/22 edition, which had been rebound along the way, was sold via e-Bay on Feb. 24, 2015 - for GBP 140.00 or about U.S. $216.00. The vessel was damaged by aerial bombing during the Spanish Civil War. In Dec. 1938, the vessel left Barcelona for Marseilles, France, to repair the resulting damage. On Dec. 12, 1938, the ship ran aground on the beach at Saint-Pierre-la-Mer, Bleury, France, & broke in two. The vessel was a total loss.
