A page to primarily feature Photographic Images using the 'slider puzzle' created by Axel Fontaine who used to live S. of Brussels, Belgium - The Fine Art version is here. Hopefully the page will be fun for the youngsters who visit the site (and perhaps for some not so young visitors also!) Axel's java applet permits puzzles to have a maximum of 100 squares i.e. 10 x 10. I have generally provided puzzles only up to a 49 square size i.e. 7 x 7, because at that level the puzzle is already very difficult indeed. Additional even more difficult levels can be added readily if there is an interest. We will add images in the future as time permits. We started the page using only images that you are already familiar with from the 'Lake Applet' section of the site. But there are already exceptions ~ including the last superb puzzle in the second row above. Enjoy your visit! A reminder. The pages are designed to be displayed with a
