This page is my 11th page of 'Lake' images &
when I started the page we had 256 images on site. I think the overall quality is being
maintained and, in fact, may be steadily improving. Do you agree? But I begin to wonder
when I should stop adding yet more images. How many is too many? But the strange thing
about the 'Lake' applet is that one can look at many images displayed with the
applet & not get bored. Especially if they are quality images. I do not think that that
is true for any other applet that I have ever seen. Can you imagine 200 images of
exploding fireworks as an example? Enough said! I will continue a bit longer because those
who see the result with the correct size screen seem to be genuinely delighted. And
perhaps that is what it is all about.
As I have said before with previous pages, visitors may click the first
image (the big cat in this case) & then by clicking the 'next' button see in
sequence every image that appears on this page. You should not even have to move your
mouse as you go from image to image (though I encourage you to do so in order to read the
comments under each picture). Enjoy your visit!
A reminder. The pages are definitely designed to be displayed with a
computer screen setting of 1024 x 768. Should any image not appear cleanly, hit
'Refresh'.
