A simple subject but one which makes a very good slider puzzle. It is the copyrighted work of U.S. photographer
Sherry Skinner who, many years ago now, in 2001 or earlier, used an Olympus D-450Z digital camera to create it. She entitled it
'one loose thread'. This particular image came
from Sherry's archive which then was at the DigitalPhotoContest.com site. The original image, appearing here
with Sherry's kind permission, is here.
Sherry, we thank you.
In 2013, way more than a decade after this page was first created,
an astounding number of Sherry's brilliant images can be seen on her website here.

The java applet that runs the puzzle is courtesy of Axel Fontaine, who used to live
just south of the city of Brussels in Belgium. Axel invited free use of his fine applet which you can, I hope,
download here. Axel, we thank you!
