Both of the works presented on this page were sold by Tennants Auctioneers, at an auction held on Jul. 5, 2007, I believe at their Leyburn, North Yorkshire, U.K., 'Auction Centre'. Both are oils on canvas, 28.5 x 48 cm. (11 1/4 x 19 in.) in size, signed, & with the artist's name on plaques attached to the frames. They constituted a single lot (# 1239) & would have been sold as a pair. I do not know, however, if they were in fact sold.
Do drop by the Tennants auction site. I believe that this was not the first auction at which they have featured Schenck's works.

More when I get more! Maybe YOU could provide new data or could provide a clue as to where new data about the above works (or indeed any other Schenck work) might be found. I would truly welcome your input.
