Problems? Your computer may refuse to show anything other than an empty box. If so, and you are using Windows 7 as the webmaster does, fixing the problem is most simple. Print the image you will come to here & follow the few instructions. In other browsers I presume that you would follow the same approach i.e. get to the 'Java' program on your computer & fix the security level.

Of course you do need to install 'Java' to be able to see it. Easily done! It installs quickly & it is free. Just click on 'Free Java Download' here.

Another fine copyrighted artwork of artist Amy Quarnberg of Utah. Amy specialises in pencil & watercolour pet images. This particular image of a wolf stalking, is, Amy says, a 'scratchboard' & appears here with her express permission.  Her 'Pet Portraits' website is here & many examples of her work can be seen via that site.

What is a 'scratchboard' you might ask. Amy tells me that a scratchboard is a white thick paper, with a layer of black on the top. You use a scratch tool (with a metal tip that is sharp like a needle) to scratch off the black. So every part that is white in the finished drawing has been 'scratched' off the black paper surface. (But you've got to know where to scratch!)

As this site must move, in 2009, to a new location, I seem unable to direct you to the original wolf image that I used re the above. But there are 14 pages of images on Amy's site & I may well have missed it.
