Problems? Your computer may refuse to show anything other than an empty box. If so, and you are using Windows 7 as the webmaster does, fixing the problem is most simple. Print the image you will come to here & follow the few instructions. In other browsers I presume that you would follow the same approach i.e. get to the 'Java' program on your computer & fix the security level.

Of course you do need to install 'Java' to be able to see it. Easily done! It installs quickly & it is free. Just click on 'Free Java Download' here.

Another superb image, the copyrighted work of photographer Gary Ell and appearing here with his express permission. Gary displays a portion of his work on the photo-net pages. Drop by and enjoy! This particular image comes from the 'Seascapes' folder.

The image was taken in March 2001 at Cape May Point Lighthouse located on the southern tip of the peninsula south of Atlantic City, New Jersey. Gary told us that the lighthouse was built in 1859 & that the light can be seen from 19 miles out at sea. I gather that a lighthouse keeper is no longer required to keep the beacon operating. Automation has changed all of that, more is the pity in my view. But the site is still manned today, I learn, & I am glad to hear that. Gary has his own extensive photographic website located here & invites you to visit. We thank you Gary!
